Program Description:

Program:
Saratov Russia

UWM students join a larger group of students from a consortium of U.S. universities under the guidance of faculty from University of Wyoming. Saratov is located on the Volga River, approximately 450 miles southeast of Moscow. Saratov State University is one of the oldest universities in the country. Students will stay with Russian host families and participate in university-sponsored cultural events such as a visit to the historic "Nemetskaia" and a variety of museums and cathedrals.
 

For application and visa information, please view the Wyoming-Saratov Study Abroad website. Please submit your Wyoming application to your UWM study abroad advisor. Your study abroad coordinator will then submit the application materials to Wyoming.

Scholarships and Grants
Financial Aid, Scholarships & Grants may be used for this program!

Based on eligibility, UWM undergraduate students may apply for a Wisconsin Study Abroad Grant.  The award amount is up to $500.

Application Requirements
This program requires an online application and other required documents found as part of the online application; a $250 deposit (includes a $50 non-refundable application fee); and a valid passport.

Applications will be reviewed shortly after the deadline. We will ask participants to confirm their participation in the program shortly after they are notified of their acceptance.

Applying for a Passport
Passports need to be valid for at least six months past the program's end date. The CIE Study Abroad office strongly recommends that you expedite your passport application. Information on how to apply for a passport can be found here.
